Job Summary
Enable the Cloud Data Services organization with business intelligence and analytics capabilities to support business growth. The capabilities include metrics design, forecasting, executive dashboard design and development, self-service automated dashboards, design and development, and operational reporting, process metrics and analysis support.
This role supports hypergrowth business where managing heterogeneous and ambiguous data sets is the norm. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can build this team over time and leverage other colleagues to get things done and has a love for innovation and technology, as well as an inquisitive mindset that will identify questions, solutions, and how best to use technology to translate data into information as quickly as possible. Automation and robotic process automation should be second nature and support top analysts at headquarters. Stakeholders all over the world depend on cloud business data every day and need to be supported with accurate and timely data. Many new product introductions will continuously add to the challenge of finding common ways of providing critical data to product and sales teams. This role demands a strong handle on technology, such as data curation, data modeling, ETLs, big data processing, deep analysis with tools that can handle large datasets, and top notch visualizations with tools, such as Tableau. Understanding corporate finances is a plus and knowing storage technology would be an important differentiator.
Job Requirements
• Your role is to develop a strong working relationship with local and world-wide team members.
• Your ability to communicate well and collaborate effectively across multiple time zones is essential.
• You are expected to already have advanced analytical skills along with advanced skills in Excel and Tableau.
• In this role we’re also looking for talent to design, develop, and maintain very effective and efficient data cleanup and management code and processes to support a fast-growing data set from multiple sources and marketplaces.
• You are expected to be familiar and comfortable with such tools and learn new tools and skillsets to manage data and present data in effective ways through dashboards and mobile platforms. Understanding cloud technologies, such as Azure and its applicable DB and data warehouse functions, is a great distinction point.
• You need to feel comfortable in a fast-growing and demanding environment to manage a large set of demands in a controlled effort that meets and beats deadlines. You are expected to know how software and service subscriptions work operationally as well as financially.
• A solid financial background is important to support and analyze selling motions. This role demands a self-driven, independent, and very organized individual who can not only manage his / her own time and deliverables, but also that of others as the team grows.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Excellent people skills to manage teams effectively with a growth mindset.
• Excellent command of SaaS, subscription billing, measurements and appropriate KPIs.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify and communicate insights and KPIs to executives.
• Superb organizational skills to coordinate monthly business reviews with the team.
• Excellent leadership skills to guide team members toward meaningful and actionable analytics.
• Superb visualization skills to effectively communicate insights and actionable messages.
• Proficient in building analytics in Excel, databases and with statistical and analytical tool sets.
• Proficient in visualization techniques in Excel as well as Tableau, PowerBI, Incorta or comparable tools.
• Strong programming skills and in developing analytics models.
• Proficiency in marketplace data, processes, and reporting.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Exposure to C#, Python, Java, XML, JSON, Angular, React, REST APIs a plus.
Education
• A bachelor in computer science, business administration, or equivalent is a must; MBA or applicable master is a plus.
