Job Summary

NetApp U.S. Public Sector is seeking a Secure Systems Administrator for their Government Security team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to a Fortune 500 company while utilizing your expertise to enhance various corporate and government security programs. As a Secure Systems Administrator, your main role will involve providing support for NetApp U.S. Public Sector's accredited CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) enclave and assisting the Government Security team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitating account set-ups, password changes, and administrative computer management via Active Directory & Office 365, requiring hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Within a GCC High environment preferred)
  • Troubleshooting and repairing issues both physically and remotely, while also guiding clients through troubleshooting steps either in person or remotely
  • Develop relationships and interface regularly with numerous departments within the company
  • Test patches/configuration changes and provide feedback prior to deployment in production
  • Engineer, implement, and enforce technical and administrative security measures and processes to ensure all systems achieve and maintain government compliance with directives outlined in the ICD 503, NIST 800-171, Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)s. 
  • Will manage Azure infrastructure, including Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, storage solutions, and cloud network configurations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration or a related technical support role with basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing, subnetting, syslog’s, etc.
  • Must be a team player and have an innovative passion for supporting internal customers
  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Office Suite, and general productivity applications
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams to support deadlines and an ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing priorities while setting expectations
  • Ability to follow documented daily procedures and policies; monitoring tools and response guidelines, escalation and notification processes; and Trouble/Ticket management processes and guidelines
  • Experience with NIST 800-171 is highly preferred
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain Top-Secret Security Clearance Eligibility from the Department of Defense
  • 20% of travel may be required

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+ desired
  • Industry-based certifications i.e. Security +, Network +, Azure preferred 

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $102,000 - $132,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
